BK10 keyboard does not pair to separate channels

Keyboard Q&A

rtg3403 58

Hi no matter what I do my BK10 keyboard will only attempt to pair with my two Macbooks on channel 2. Each time I try to set it up I do the following steps:

1. 'Forget' the keyboard from both macs' list of Bluetooth device connections

2. Press BT button 1 until the light flashes quickly.

3. Wait for the keyboard to appear in the first mac's list of devices and click Pair

4. The BT1 light on the kyboard will stop flashing and the BT2 light start flashing green - the keyboard now works but is connected on BT2

5. Go to my second Mac and repeat the above steps to pair with the keyboard using BT1 or BT3 - this will fail

5. The keybooard will only connect to the second Mac after I turn BT off on the first Mac. It will connect to BT channel 2 no matter which channel I made discoverable.

And yes I've updated to latest versions of Bluetooth etc etc, tried turning both machines off and then on ect etc Please don't repeat that here, it's not helpful. Thanks in advance.
